I was looking up stuff on dogs to see if it was reasonable to bring a dog on a ship (which it is... they bred dogs just for this) and came accross this picture:

That's Elsie's breed. Jesus, that's a big dog. After doing some reasearch, I guess she is three feet high at the shoulder and 140 lbs.
